Lipstick favourites...

Hey,
Thought I'd just give this whole blogging thing a go again, and because I have a massive lipstick collection I thought I'd use this opportunity to share with you a few of my favourites....

Ysl rouge pur couture 49
I absolutely love this lipstick! The bright barbie pink colour is sooooo amazing and just perfect for summer! It has a super creamy texture and stays on for ages so is perfect for a night out but can also be worn for more subtle day time looks! It is a bit pricey however it is definitely worth it!

Ysl rouge volupte 15
Yes it's another ysl lipstick but I just love them! This one is a gorgeous bright orange colour without being too in your face! It has a gorgeous glossy texture and like the other ysl one it stays on for ages! I also absolutely love the packaging to this one!

Illamasqua lipstick in Atomic

I absolutely love illamasqua lipsticks and this colour is a gorgeous bright plummy pink. It's very wearable and I wear it both in the day time and on nights out! The texture is extremely matte and if applied with a lip liner it is very long lasting! Illamasqua lipsticks can be a bit pricey and I was lucky enough to pick this up on  a 50% off day on the illamasqua website! However I do feel it is worth the full price!

Rimmel Kate moss 101
As you can probably tell by how little of this lipstick is left it gets a LOT of wear! It's from the matte collection so may not be suitable if you have particularly dry lips however I think it's perfect for me! I love it! It's such good value for money as it can be picked up for around £5! The colour is wearable and I wear it most days! It also looks great with a smokey eye for a night out! I always carry this lipstick in my handbag as it is always my go to lipstick. It's definitely on my shopping list to replace it!

Topshop Haul; Sale and Christmas presents

Hello :)
Over Christmas I got a few things from topshop. I got some as presents and some I purchased on boxing day in the sale. I love sale shopping and hunting out the bargains and I was at topshop at 9 am boxing day! Here are a few of the things I have picked up during the Christmas period.

CREAM SKATER DRESS
I purchased this dress on boxing day in the sale. One thing I LOVE about Topshop sales is that you can get student discount even on sale items! This dress was originally meant to cost £20 but was reduced down to £12, but I then got student discount so I only ended up paying £10.80! BARGAIN! This is such a good price for a topshop dress! You wouldn't even be able to get it second hand off eBay for that cheap! I will probably wear this dress on a night out with a pair of heels, a glittery bag and some jewellery. The only problem with this colour is I'll have to be very careful not to spill anything haha. If you tend to wear a lot of fake tan this may not be the colour dress for you!

BLACK LEATHER CHELSEA BOOTS
These boots were a Christmas present off my dad for Christmas  I believe they were about £65 which is a bit pricey but you are paying for quality as I can tell that these boots are going to last for ages, and hopefully as they are a plain black boot they will be a timeless item and never go out of fashion! I really love these boots and they are great to wear with some dark jeans or with tights and a dress!

WELLINGTON BOOTS
These were also a christmas present, but off my mum. For christmas my mum has given me the money to buy a ticket for V festival so she also brought me these to use when i go to V festival! I am absolutly in love with these! I think they were around the £30 price which is quite expensive for wellies, but when you compare how nice they are and the price of them to hunters i think their a bargain! I love the red zip detailing on the front as it makes them look a bit different to normal wellies! I am sooooo excited for V fesival just because I cant wait to wear these! Hopefully it will snow soon so I get to wear them before!

OVERSIZED BLACK JUMPER
I also purchased this on boxing day in the sales and I cant remember exactly how much I payed for it because I have already worn it and thrown the tags away! I think it was around £12 but then again I would have also got student discount on it! I love this jumper and it looks great over a vest and jeans/leggings. The only problem is that because it is holey you have to be careful as it easily catches on things and requires delicate washes.

GREEN VEST TOP
Theres not much I can really say about this as it pretty much 'is what it says on the tin' haha. I think i only payed around £2 for this and I only really brought it because I am really into forest green and I think its a great colour for winter.

Favourite 5 :)

Hello :)
Thought I'd give you an insight into what kind of things I like and my favourite brands by creating a little blog on my 5 favourite beauty products at the moment; a scent, a hair product, a face, an eyes and a lip make-up product. So here goes....

1st-SCENT Daisy by Marc Jacobs

I got brought this as a Christmas present last year and I literally love it and have worn it everyday since getting it! Even though its a bit pricey I think it's definitely worth it as it lasts forever! I also absolutely LOVE the packaging, it's actually beautiful! I also love that its called daisy and this is the only reason my dad bought it for me, I think he did pretty well!

2nd- HAIR PRODUCT Tresemme hairspray

I find this hairspray works really well for my hair type! I have really thin limp hair so I find any sort of styling I do sort of drops out quickly but this hairspray a keeps my hair styled for a long time. It also gives my hair LOADS of volume! I don't have any other hairspray, I repurchase and repurchase this! Even though you might think its quite expensive for a hairspray, I buy the biggest can you can get and it lasts ages! Literally like 4 months! Definitely worth the money and I think I will carry on using it forever!

3- EYES Naked palette by Urban Decay

I think that this product is a favourite for most beauty obsessives and bloggers and it is mentioned sooo much you've probably heard all this before! I literally can not stress enough how much I love this! I've had it just over a year now and It probably is the best £27 I've ever spent on a beauty product! Out of every time I do my makeup I probably use this 90% of the time that's how much I love it! The colours are so wearable both for daytime

looks and more glamorous night looks! My most used colours are probably virgin, naked and half baked! £30 is a lot of money just to splurge on makeup but I would definitely say it is worth it and you are paying for quality!

Naked by Urban decay (mines really battered its used so much)
4-FACE Hoola by benefit

I got this in a benefit gift set in the January sales last year. I think I payed £30 in debenhams and it contained like £70 worth of benefit makeup, BARGAIN! So I never set out to buy this, but just got it by chance. Now it is my most reached too face product and I use it as a contour everyday! I haven't used a different one since getting it! It's just a matte bronze colour and I like it as it gives you a natural contour! I have also found that it lasts for ages! I really recommend it if your looking for a natural looking contour and I will definitely repurchasing once mine runs out!

Hoola by Benefit
5-LIPS Rimmel lipstick by Kate moss

I really enjoy these lipsticks, I think they're really good quality for the price you pay! They come in a variety of colours and in both matte and satin textures. I have a variety of ones and I don't think I could pick a favourite! They come in some great nudes and pinks which are really wearable and I usually wear them most days, and there are some great reds which I love wearing on a night out! I would defiantly recommend them as they are great for the price! And I can't wait for her next collection!
